When an authorized recipient agrees to receive operational text messages, Stay Tyler may collect the recipient’s name, mobile phone number, SMS consent status, opt-out or help requests, and limited messaging records needed to operate and support the alert program.
How we use SMS information
Stay Tyler uses this information to send and manage operational messages concerning its short-term rental properties. Messages may include:
- Guest issue notifications
- Maintenance alerts
- Safety notifications
- Property operation updates
SMS messages are limited to Stay Tyler owners and authorized team members or personnel who have agreed to receive them. References to guest issues describe internal operational alerts about a Stay Tyler property; guests are not enrolled in this SMS program. Stay Tyler does not use this program for unsolicited or promotional marketing.
Mobile information and consent
Stay Tyler does not sell, rent, share, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties except with service providers as necessary to deliver the requested operational messaging service, protect Stay Tyler and its recipients, or comply with applicable legal obligations. Service providers may use mobile information only to perform services for Stay Tyler and not for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Message frequency, rates, and choices
Message frequency varies based on operational activity. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan.
Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Recipients may reply HELP for assistance or contact Stay Tyler at stayintyler@gmail.com.
Retention and security
Stay Tyler retains SMS program information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, document consent and opt-out requests, resolve issues, and meet legal obligations. Stay Tyler uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect this information.
